“Fore Roger” Raises Funds for Alzheimer’s Research

Fore Roger Raises $26,000

Alzheimer’s disease affects an estimated 5.7 million American and is the 6th leading cause of death among all adults, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Proceeds from Marshfield Insurance’s annual “Fore Roger” event go towards a Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation fund to assist families affected with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, provide capital for research, and help purchase medical supplies.

“It’s a unique event and a fun day planned to combat a worthy cause,” said Nick Arnoldy. “We’re excited to have a great group of golfers, as well as Charlie Berens and Bill Ferarrio in attendance.”

Fore Roger is held annually in honor of Marshfield Insurance founder Roger Arnoldy, who passed away in 2012 from Lewy Body Dementia. His sons, Nick and Ryan, now carry on the Marshfield Insurance legacy as co-owners.

“All the money raised stays in Central Wisconsin to assist families affected by Dementia & Alzheimer’s, in honor of my dad,” said Nick. “We are proud to carry on his legacy at Marshfield Insurance.”

Currently, Marshfield Insurance represents over 30 “A-Rated” insurance companies and staffs more than a dozen licensed agents. Marshfield Insurance is now the largest insurance office in the Marshfield Area offering assistance in commercial, home, auto, life, health & specialized business insurance programs. “We are honored to serve customers throughout Central Wisconsin, and especially thankful for all of the support we receive both as a business and through this important event,” said Nick. “We hope anyone who wasn’t able to join this year marks their calendar for next year!”
