Marshfield Insurance Agency proudly hosted its 6th annual “Fore Roger” Golf Event on June 27, 2023 at RiverEdge Golf Course. The event, which marked the culmination of a successful six-year run, raised $23,090 for Alzheimer’s research this year – supporting families affected by the disease and contributing to the Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation.

Fore Roger has been held annually in honor of Marshfield Insurance founder Roger Arnoldy, who passed away in 2012 from Lewy Body Dementia. Nick Arnoldy, Roger’s son, carried forward the legacy of Marshfield Insurance as owner/broker of Marshfield Insurance, ensuring his father’s passion for philanthropy continued to make a meaningful impact.

“All the money raised stays in Central Wisconsin to assist families affected by Dementia & Alzheimer’s, in honor of my dad,” said Nick. “We are proud to carry on his legacy at Marshfield Insurance.”

Alzheimer’s disease, a condition that affects an estimated 5.7 million Americans, emerged as the 6th leading cause of death among all adults, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. In response to this critical issue, Marshfield Insurance’s “Fore Roger” event has been dedicated to assisting families impacted by Alzheimer’s and Dementia, funding research initiatives, and providing essential medical supplies.

Since its inception, the Annual Fore Roger event has achieved remarkable success, raising over $123,090 in local assistance. All proceeds are allocated to Alzheimer’s research at the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, contributing to ongoing scientific advancements that provide treatments and hope to affected families.

“The Marshfield Insurance team helped make sure this year’s event was a unique and fun day planned to combat a worthy cause,” said Nick. “We were thrilled to have a great group of golfers, as well as the presence of former Green Bay Packer Don Majkowski. We are honored to serve customers throughout Central Wisconsin and are especially thankful for all the support we receive both as a business and through this important event.”
