Marshfield Insurance Owner/Broker Nick Arnoldy was honored last night at MACCI’s Firm of the Year banquet for completing two full 3-year terms on the Board of Directors. Asked to join the board six years ago, Arnoldy accepted the appointment without hesitation and has since served the Board in many ways.
“I was honored to be considered to serve in a position where I could help the chamber make decisions that can positively impact the community,” he said. “Over my six years on the Chamber’s Board of Directors I’ve had the opportunity to see our community, in particular our businesses, contribute to some major projects.”
Some of these projects include the Marshfield YMCA expansion, the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library construction, the new high school football stadium, the Wenzel Family Plaza and Marshfield’s new aquatic center.
“Marshfield’s economy is very much thriving which is why we are able to complete all of those major projects in such a short time,” he said. “That’s what you get when you buy local, whether it’s a new vehicle purchase, using a local contractor, banking or insurance… these local businesses invest in our community.”
Having had relationships for many years with the Chamber, Arnoldy was excited to help serve in a leadership role.
“I love working with people, and I knew many of the Chamber members from my role at Marshfield Insurance,” he said. “I hope to see our community continue to improve. We have great resources here, I was happy to be a part of our chamber’s involvement over the years.”
